Frances has extensive experience in litigation and is licensed to practice in the State of Texas. Frances started her legal career as a prosecutor at the El Paso District Attorney’s office handling the prosecution of misdemeanor and felony offenses including, driving while intoxicated, aggravated assault with deadly weapon, thefts, criminal trespass, murder, injury to child and domestic violence cases. She has also served as an Assistant City Attorney with the El Paso City Attorney’s office where she was lead counsel to economic development, finance and budget, and comptrollers department.

Frances also has extensive experience in civil defense litigation from her practice at Ray Pena McChristian where she focused on personal injury, catastrophic motor vehicle and trucking accidents, third party insurance claims, slip and fall cases, deceptive trade practices, and property damage claims.

Prior to law school, Frances enjoyed a career in the wealth management industry in New York, NY where she handled regulatory compliance and investment matters for banking clients.
